Happy sober Sunday to everyone, Saturday nights used to be my night to "Hang One On" not anymore. So far I've had a sober year. After several attempts to "moderate" and a lot of thinking, I have to quit this sometime. I have to say it has not been that difficult to quit completely, I just made up my mind that I no longer want to be a drinker, I never want another hangover. It makes my life much less complicated, when and where am I going to drink?, how am I going to get home?, what will I not be able to get done?, who is going to be upset with me?, who will I disappoint. I have been able to get more organized and feel much better all the time, it used to take until Tuesday's to get up to speed. Not anymore this Sunday morning I spent getting my desk organized, used to be impossible with a pounding head.
