Afternoon Waggy and Zen. Sending good wishes for you're sister Waggy i do hope her sugery goes well this time. My sister had a hernia removed 2 wks ago but it got infected and she had tohave her gp out as she got quite ill and a nurse calling for daily dressings. She's fine now but we were all worried. I'm sure you're glad to get your new gnashers Zen i need a big cosmetic job on mine as they quite dull almost yellow from age and a bit of a chip on the front plus 2 back ones that had to go but that type of dentistry is is very expensive here costing thousands and even with private health which i don't have is still a lot. Just ewalked up to the village to get mhy tv guide and had a look in the local chartiy shop. I got a lovely ornamental picture type kitchen clock for 5e. Unfortunaly the clock part won't work right despite a new batterie but it makes a love kitchen wall ornament. Still miserable and drizzling rain here but mild.

My sister is having her back surgery this morning (right now California time) so I am a bit scared. Last time if you remember they hit an artery and she was in a coma. She (and all of us) are very nervous. She had to get it finished because they could not finish the surgery due to the first trauma. I pray she will be fine.
Anyway. hope you are all well. Talk soon.
Love WaggyMy thoughts and prayers are with you Waggy. I hope all goes well.

I've had my teeth appointment bumped as they had to juggle the schedule... and I'm having them done at 6pm tonight. Yay! The rush hour traffic will be horrendous for the drive up but who cares, I'll have me gnashers!
Last night turned into a bigger job that I thought. There was a stampede of people for dinner and I was plating faster than a whirling dervish lol! (It was kinda "cafeteria" style.) It was a laugh though and it brought me back to the days when I was cheffing. And everyone loved the food.
I'm going to have a quick peruse of the boards and PMs and then get off to the gym. I'm slowly building my stamina back up and yesterday was much better than the first day. It'll take a while to get back to where I was though. Quite shocking how quickly you lose it... (
Hope everyone is well! Lots of nice meet-ups for folk to look forward to. I've never been to Glastonbury but it sounds like it is right up the alley for Starty, Oners and Zuma! I've seen the wild ponies though... many moons ago... a beautiful sight... )Best of luck with the dentist. I have to make an appointment next week. I've been putting it off but I can't any longer.

Zennie, I posted about her this morning. That woman is 64 years old and there wasn't a jiggly part on her. Not on her legs, the undersides of her upper arms, nothing. I don't know if she's had plastic surgery on her face but she's not got any wrinkles either. I was gobsmacked when I saw her. And her fiancee (for over 5-1/2 years) is 20 years younger than she is. I imagine she keeps him on his toes...
And your Ma is right. She is scary.

Now where was I.
Darn tooting missed. Zens.
Got the son and heir home, was just having a wee catch up with him.
Waggers, my lovely, I'll say a wee prayer for you family.
Stirls, have you ever thought about being a travel agent. Son and heir's looking for a holiday and I've just suggested Greece or one of the islands. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Well, it depends on what kind of a holiday he's looking for and how many days off he's got. Some islands take only a couple of hours from here, others up to 12 by boat. And I don't imagine he'd want to tour the mainland at his age. Some of the bigger islands you can fly straight to. If he's really interested, I can make some suggestions. For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

AHOY THERE ME HEARTIES!!
I've been flat out at work and we just had a long weekend, which I spent up in Nelson (about four hours drive away) which was nice and today we have been SNOWED OFF WORK!!
YES IT IS SNOWING steadily and heavily - a beautiful picture from the warmth of indoors, but bloody cold out.
I hope all's well on the thread, I'll have A chance to read back a bit this morning - even though most of you will be thinking about heading to bed, ...
Wishing you all a serene and happy tuesday evening or what ever time of day it is in your part of the world....
GOD BLESS THE QUEEN
