VERY spiritual Pinky - my SIL had cancer & swears by him. Took me ages to go to him - but I am finding very suble changes happening. Sleeping like a top for one thing !!

Yep, good thing about that. I saw foxes once in our old neighbourhood. Beautiful animals. My sister lives out in the country in Ontario and she often sees deer in the woods around her house. A wolf ran through her property one day and there are coyotes in the area as well. I could do without the last two. I do see the occasional hawk here flying in circles looking for food and we have these owls that I see in the late evening occasionally.

Hi Foxy Loxey. How are you keeping?
Is there any way you could come with us in October ?
I think it would be great for us to get away. I know for me to go away have great craic and NOT have a few drinks is a new venture - I have never done it !

I'm afraid not. :upset: It's cheaper for me to come to Dubbers than get down there and at this moment just haven't got the dosh.

Foxy - not too sure. October was mentioned. Startypants & Oneypants are on the job getting prices & B&Bs.

I am just worried about my upcoming holiday this Friday. Greek feckin ferry not going from Zakynthos ( that we fly into ) to Keffalonia ( the Island we have holiday booked for)
So we have to use 2 of the 7 days of our holiday travelling !!!!

It has been a few days since I checked it - life since Friday has been a whirlwind! Another prom for my eldest, then her awards ceremony, then yesyerday she GRADUATED High School! :goodjob: I am so damn proud of her. Me, I am having a bit of a hard time with it, but it is part of life. Thank God for waterproof mascara is all I can say. I am so proud of all my girls. They are growing up to be such amazing women (even the 5 year old acts like she is 20!) It freaks me out to think I will have to go through all of this twice again. Oh and don't get me started about marriage and being a grandparent!! HOLY CRAP

My sister is having her back surgery this morning (right now California time) so I am a bit scared. Last time if you remember they hit an artery and she was in a coma. She (and all of us) are very nervous. She had to get it finished because they could not finish the surgery due to the first trauma. I pray she will be fine.

Anyway. hope you are all well. Talk soon.

Satz, Ive sent the time schedule for the ferry service to your PM box. Just saying so here in case you haven't checked it. I will call again on Thursday to ask about the ferry from Zakynthos to Kefallonia. If we all keep everything crossed, maybe the damn service will be up and running and you can do without the pain of going back and forth from Kyllini instead of straight to Kefallonia.

Off for a walk but I'll be back.....

:hallo: from a very cold and wet Stellenbosch. Yesterday was a sunny 24C, then a cold front hit and we're in for a few days of fecking misery :upset: - I hate having to drive such long distances as we do in this weather.
