Hi, Army, :-)

Just a quick check in. I have been sober since May 24th. It was and is a forced AF as I ended up with a perforated ulcer, in the hospital for a week with tubes, drains, etc, lots of antibiotics and now at home knowing any alcohol will very likely lead to my death. My doctor made that very clear.

I am still finding it difficult to stay sober, despite the fear of death.

It is amazing how strong addiction is, isn't it?

Hope all are doing well.

I may be jumping in from time to time to keep from going crazy.

Cindi - it is so good to see you and to hear that you are AF. Yes, it is amazing how strong the addiction is. I hope for your own sake, that you will stick to being AF this time. Life is too precious to let AL take even one more minute away from us. Be strong and be sober. :huggy
