Hi everyone - golly lots of posts! Nora - when our cats got sick and wouldn't drink, we used to leave the tap on in the tub as they love to drink from the tap - just on a drip or a tiny trickle mind - but it is really fresh water that way and they love it - maybe try that? Ours used to wait in the kitchen sink in the morning for us to turn the tap on (did they have us trained or what!!). Anyway it is worth trying - cats really love fresh water.... my youngest took our last cat with her when she moved out and he is elderly and his kidneys are failing so she is doing the tub thing with the water to get him to drink more water....
Hi there jan - I laugh when you say that your boobs are still attached !!!! I know others don't understand our sense of humour when it comes to the BC - but you have to laugh at it. I am going to start taking my boobs in the shower with me each day to try to rinse the excess soap out of them - they were very expensive special ones that were made from plaster of paris forms of my body and I washed them with too much soap daily for too long and even the manufacturers can't get the excess soap out of them!! So I am back to regular forms that are not as comfy as the special ones....
OH - I have POISON OAK !!! From my stint in the garden on Tuesday I think..... the itching on my leg woke me last night and today it has gradually spread to various parts of my legs.... Ivy Dry works really well for the itching but it is still spreading...... I am fine with poison ivy but about two years ago, poison oak got me........and it seems to have got me again - darn it!
PAULA - I am so happy to see that you have no desire to drink - I think that is awesome and I want some of it please. I am really happy for you - you are doing so well....
Cinders - you too are doing so well..... I responded to a post of yours some while back - but I really felt for you - my heart went out for you for what you have been through so am so happy that you are feeling better. So sorry about your mama - a hard thing to deal with for you.... and yes, sobriety is a process - SIGH. Wish it wasn't so long though.....
RC - your juices look lovely - wish I could employ you as my chef - gee, someone said that to me - LOL. I need to get some watermelon and some other fruits to make juices with and I love ginger too.....
Okay Nora - I won't comment on your oversleeping - LOL...... were you late for work ? ROTFLMBO !!!!!
Zen - yes, you are right - as you and others have said - get the funeral out of the way and then re-assess. That is tomorrow. then I work 2- 10:30. nice huh? It will be a hard shift...... yes, I haven't gone overboard - I never do - but I am not in control as you said. I feel badly that I didn't join BOB when he went AF - I usually do - to be a support and 'cos then we -email and Skype and it is easier and helpful for both of us. But I just can't do it right now.
Stirly - thank you too for your comments - yes it is hard with funerals and I give them a miss if I can but there is no way I can miss this one.
Anyway - I need to go and water the pots and baskets. And pus some more Ivy Dry on...... I feel another area that is starting to itch - GAH !!!!!!!!!!
