One Step at a Time - June 2012

Wish me luck everyone - not sure if this thread is for this kind of stuff. I am on my way to this dinner party with a couple that are booze hounds.
Hope we don't have to stay too long.

Personally for me it IS huge but in the big picture it's tiny. After 30 days i really want to take note of my quit date, celebrate the annual milestone and stop counting besides that. That way, the monkey is REALLY off my back.

                          So here's my story..........

I am very, very fair. I wanted to get a little color on my legs. I bought a self tanner today. Thought it would give me some gradual color. Applied it per the directions. Looked down a couple hours later. I have an orange foot. An orange heel and smears on my legs. :H:H:H:H Whoops - not what I thought it was. :blushing:

Really? Nora Ephron? How old was she? I always thought she was quite young.

Sorry about your foot but as an aside: When I was in high school every year one of the gals would get oranger and ornager as the year wore on. Turned out she used the self tanning spray on her face like makeup. She also wore heavy black mascara. I swear the poor thing looked like a pumpkin... :H

I must admit I'd thought the self tanning lotions would have come a bit further since 1978....

                              Hugs,

I remember a popular girl came to school orange one day in junior high. Well - I thought that the tanners would be better these days too. :H WRONG!!

Nora Ephron was 71. She had leukemia. I just read that both her parents were alcoholics. I've enjoyed her books & movies.

Well - I'm going to take my orange foot to bed now. Sleep well Kradle. :l
