          Hello Expatty.

Phone call from Jenny (the daughter).

Jens: Muuuuuuuuummmmmm can you sew a button on my jacket.

          Me: 'Course I can

Jens: Oh and the pocket needs a wee stitch

          Me: no problem

Jens: If I wash it tonight will it be dry by tomorrow morning.

Me: No I'm not buying you a new one. If it's not dry you'll have to wear it damp.

          I love her dearly.

                  :hallo:

Having a bit of a lurk. My cousin's flight from Heathrow has been delayed 2 and a half hours so we're mooching about doing nothing until 11.30ish.

We've bought the twins 2 red hair bands with wee England flags on them as it's their first time here. Poor little beggars will be worn out.

They're only here a week and I'll have to wrestle with their Granny and Aunt to get me sticky paws on them.

Oh and I still haven't got the hang of the damn stilettos for the wedding tomorrow.

Everyone's going to think me and Mr JC are the last of the romantics tomorrow walking arm in arm all afternoon. What they won't realise is I'm actually clinging on for dear life in them darn heels.
