I'm off out to get crawfish tonight (I lurve crawdaddies) with my mate wot went to visit my Mum when he was on the island a week or so ago. (Oh, and Stirls, I asked him to send some more pics of the island... I'll check my email later and forward any he's sent.)

(I sent Stirls pics of my Mum, my friend and my Mum's huge cat (Jack) yesterday. He's a behemoth.) :h

Anyway, this crawfish thing only happens at this place once a year and I think it will be fun... It's beside a place where I used to play pool, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a game in.

Edit: Day before yesterday... me brain's not firing right!I loved the pics and I visited your town via Street view. The street numbers were a little confusing but I recognized your Ma's house from that picture of you and her when you were little and wearing yer slippers - Me and Ma at the farm, if I'm not mistaken. But I got the impression that there wasn't a real road in front of the house then, maybe just a dirt road for tractors and such. And now it's a regular road, and lots of houses built since then. Anyway, it's a lovely area and I visited the "Standing Stones" as well.

Troopers, one of my favourite Greek movies is starting in a few minutes so I am off to take the dogger for his walk (run, tonight) and then to see the movie.
