Jeremy, the roller ouster has its ups and downs. Get off and book a ticket on your own personal rocket. Structured right these things only go up and up.
I refuse to be labelled or ashamed. Through my struggles I am achieving self awareness and clarity.

I agree with Dave. Do you have a concrete plan? Do you know if you're actually done with drinking or if you are trying to mod?
My problem is that I always want to go AF and then one day that stupid voice rears its ugly head and tries to convince me into modding.
I wouldn't call my attempts at sobriety and then back to drinking as "relapses" because I don't have or never had a substantial amount of sober time.
But it's true. We can't let it take us for a ride whenever IT wants us to.
Have you tried other recovery methods? Maybe AVRT?

Don't worry about your slip. Hang in there and keep on keeping on.
Quitting is easy. Staying sober is the hard part.
At least we have each other on MWO to share our journeys with.

It's not so much the cravings, it's the waking up & feeling like crap & the only way to feel better is to have a drink.. Been on a 5 day bender of vodka & the yuckiness is catching up.. I do take bac but got to go today with out a drink... can't go on like this...

The waking up and feeling like crap is the result of all our boozing. It's normal for a lot of people in early sobriety to wake up and feel all "doom and gloom" - alcohol is a depressant and it only makes those feeling worse in the end. When I had benders I was always so depressed. Because I hated the way the booze made me feel and I kept going back to it.
If you're really concerned about your moods you should go and see a doctor.
You know booze is a problem when you think of not drinking and feel like crap and when you think of drinking and still feel like crap.
But as I said - from hearing other people's stories; feeling the blahs is normal. The booze is only going to make it worse if you keep on drinking.
Again, if ur really concerned go see a doc.

Sobriety really is better then being a drunk.

It's sunny over where I am. Go for a walk or just sit outside in the sunshine. Vitamin D does the body good. Wear sunscreen!

Yey Day 2!! so far so good, a few ups & downs mainly aches & sweats but slowly passing. I don't normally have many problems with the weekend as I'm either with my partner or working which keeps me busy. I've started to increase the bac again so hopefully that may kick in. I read on another thread about Jason Vale, addiction/health guru so migh invest in some of his products & go on a health spree. I think that is the way to go, keep the mind & body busy!!!

:goodjob: Jeremy. Keep it going. I've gotten into juicing watermelon or orange/lemons each with a pinch of ginger. That'll help detox.

Great job Jeremy! Keep at it! I want to start juicing too and get back to the gym. Get in the best shape of my life.
You'd be surprised how many fitness experts/body builders/fitness pros have fought with addiction in the past and now lead healthy and WAY happier lives.

We should start a new thread with juicing ideas.
