    Army Thread Thursday 14th June

Molly - little Jamie is adorable. Truly. So glad that Mum and baby will be home and close to you. And please don't think you've gone on and on. With all the shite happening in the world it's a a relief to hear good news and it's so great that we can share these happy times with you. And so great that you are in such a positive place right now and can relish in the happiness around you. ::happyheart:

Hope all the Troopers who have been feeling under the weather, are feeling better soon. Very soon. :l

So very happy to hear that news about Biz and the outcome of the trial. Justice finally done.

Anyone heard from Satz or Mrs. A? If the weather on the islands is like it is here, they'll be roasted. It's usually a couple of degrees lower tho' so I imagine they're really enjoying the heat.

Oney - I really think you need to get some blood work done and also try to eat better - more fruits and veggies. You did a good job on changing your eating habits a bit at a time in the beginning, but then all the stress with confirmations and weddings and stuff got in the way. And your work with your new FB page has got you busy as well. It may be something as simple as an iron deficiency and can be easily treated. :huggy

Hi Foxy - enjoy your evening!!

ExPatty - chuck it in the oven with some EVOO, potatoes, carrots, onions and lemon juice or put it in a pot with some EVOO, canned tomatoes, onion, garlic, red pepper, oregano and basil and make it a spicy chicken to be served with pasta, rice or mashed potatoes. Can't go wrong either way as long as it's something the kids will like. Chicken soup is an easy solution as well.

:wavin: Zennie-butt. How's yer boarder. Still wobbling around on that shiny new bike?
For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

Mario is taking a holiday from MWO, so to speak. I'm sure he'll respond if you sent him a PM, though.

I think you could be right Stirls, the doc sent me to get bloods done and I never went, it really has been a rollercoaster few months and having the bio energy sessions might have something to do with it.

Mollers, you are NOT self absorbed! Don't ever say that.

Tippers, i wish I was in bed!

Foxy, good news on the couselling.

Good evenings, general wavings and yoooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooos to all.

MB, thank you so much for letting us know about Biz. Please send him my very good wishes.

                    I love the name Jamie.:h

Aww Tips do you need another Lemsip and hot water bottle.

In other news the Olympic torch comes through Noocastle tomorrow and me and Mr JC are going to see it. I am sooooooooooooooo excited. All cynicism about the London Olympics will be suspended for the day.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Stirls... He's wobbled off to work on his bike and, thus far, has successfully done a round trip unscathed!Glad to hear that.:H
Zenstyle;1334594 wrote: p.s. Stirls... Forgot about the latest bit of bad luck for the lodger. He went grocery shopping in Walmart the day I took him to buy the bike... and bought a pound of sliced roast beef with a half pound of baby Swiss cheese... they had the combo as a special for $9.00. Good price. Until... he takes out the roast beef today and it is so deadly salty you can't even eat it. I could see him thinking about asking me for a lift up there so he could return it but something about the steely glare I gave him must have made him think "best not".
Oh dear. :H Poor bugger. And shame on them for selling something so salty that it is inedible. Feckers.

Hiya Tipster. Are you back to your usual bouncy orange hue yet? Sorry you've still got a cough but if you've lost the green colour, that's at least a plus.

The fecking power went out last night. We've had unusually hot weather for this time of year the past few days and I expect there was an overload due to A/C's, fans, etc. Hope it doesn't happen tonight. I am not keen on pitch-black dark. I always have a nightlight on.

On a more positive note (not) the little girl upstairs is practicing rollerblading in the house right now. Sounds like a truck rolling by. (

Hello Clare, nice to see you here.

The torch has just this second arrived at Alnwick Castle (more popularly known as Hogwarts)

Oney-bint, please get the blood work done. Like I said, it could be something that is very easily remedied and you'll be feeling stronger in no time at all.

My nephew was a torch-bearer for the Winter Olympics in January of 2010. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience. And both of my boys were involved in the 2004 Olympics here in Athens. For both of them, it was an outstanding experience, one they will never forget. Did I say that I :h the Olympics?:H
