    Aww Tips, right back atcha :l

    Reccybear, do you know I've been there nearly a year and still love it.

    One of the young service users that had his 1st appointment on the 1st day I covered reception is still coming in. Honestly to watch his recovery over the last year is amazing.
    It could be worse, I could be filing.

      Mr. Stirly always liked the cats we used to have, in fact one used to sit on his lap while he watched TV. What happened is the stray I brought home three years ago was the most divilish little creature I have ever seen. He used to set her beside him on the sofa and play with her and had great fun. Then one day he decided to let her climb up on the sofa herself and she decided the best idea was to use his bare leg like a tree trunk to climb up onto the sofa. Needless to say, he was not pleased. He still would take her down to play in the garden and one time he put her up on the back part where the cedar trees are. They are on a higher level than the rest of the garden. She had great fun playing there with stones and dry leaves and such. Then he put her down on the lawn but she wanted to get back up on the higher level. She was trying to decide how to jump up to the metre-high wall when I suddenly realized she was looking at the wall and his bare leg, trying to figure out if she could make it up or not using his leg again. I told him to look out just as she took a run at him. Luckily, he took a big step back just as she jumped at him. Little shit she was. Cute as a button but you never knew where she'd come at you from. Used to drive poor Freddie nuts. She'd even go and try to eat out of his bowl when he was. He only ever growled at her, never tried to bite her or anything. Good doggie.

        I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

            I cant do that, I need my dose of Corrie and depressedenders....

              Something really cute happened on Sunday when we were at older son and his fianc?e's place for lunch to meet her family. Her brother's little girl was there as I posted a couple of days ago. She can't say older son's name so calls him "Beh" as in the first two letters of the word "best". Beh! and then says the name of her favourite video so that he will put it on for her - stuff like that. When she first arrived, I asked her if she remembered me and that I am Beh's Mam?. Then her mother asked her a couple of times who I am, to reinforce it. At some point she decided she wanted to play hide and seek and went and "hid" behind the curtains in the dining room. They are see-through so it was easy to see her but I went to play with her anyway. I'd call out - where is Zoe - is she on the balcony? And she'd answer - no!Well, is she behind the chair? no!Then I'd pretend to find her and she'd laugh and laugh. Then she decided she wanted to continue the game in the bedroom and said "let's go inside" and pointed to the hallway to the bedrooms. So we went and continued our game there. We played for a while and then I suggested we go back to the living room where the others were. She decided that she wanted to play hide and seek again and her mother followed her this time. I was sitting in the living room and suddenly I hear "Mam? Beh!". She was calling me to go and play with her and that was how she made the distinction between calling her Mam? and calling me. Clever little lass she is. Anyway, I went into the bedroom and she says to her Mom - "Mam? Beh only." She wanted her Mom to leave so just her and I could play. We had so much fun. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!!!
