Just checking in for the first time in a while - thanks to the folks that have pm'd me on my travels.

I'm away from home on three week business trip around Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia, so can't always get loged on here.

Doing real well as regards my drinking - - a single glass of wine with a meal since I left home - I am quite pleased with myself!

I will be back talking to you all regularly when I get back to the UK on 1st March.

Thinking of you all - and hope everything is going well for you.

Yeah Satori, I feel for you. Those visa lines are great fun, aren't they? Had to face them too over the years. Now I've got yearly visas, so just skipping the lines upon entry, grin ... It's nice to see the long faces of the tourists while passing them and wishing them good luck, ha, ha. I'm just having myself a well-deserved holiday in the north of Laos.
