How in the name of all that is good did he stay sober at a wine tasting. Crikey when I was at the wine merchants by the end of a tasting I couldn't remember what blooming country the wine came from.

Bet it's still warmer there than here, Tips. Hissing down.

ooh and we're having a proper English dinner today. Corned beef pie, chips and beans. What time will I expect yas.
Expect me at 5. Starving here. Mr A stays sober probably because he is not an alkie like his lady wife. He wanted me to go with him he has such a short memory of my behaviour on those occasions. Just coming back from Chester after changing my mind about clothes!

Ooh settling down with a cup of coffee for 10 mins for a bit of a natter.

Do you know Zennifer, I'm feeling a lot brighter and positive than I have been in a few weeks.

Don't know what it is. I'm looking forward to looking into the kindlling thing, the fact that some of the punters at work are opening up to me a bit more, the big fat cuddle I got of the boss yesterday just for turning up or just having a whole day to meself. Whatever it is I'm not going to knock it.

Oh and the other biggie is watching you having another go at this AF business. Love ya girlfriend.

As for the pie, I'm not that keen on pastry so I'll just eat the filling.

I feel much better for having a sleep. Gawd, that shit is tough to deal without.

Work sounds extremely rewarding of late.

I can be so selfish when I'm going through a bad patch. And, as much as Kate's thread turned controversial, I think it was a timely reminder that we need to keep giving back. It's part of our own recovery after all...

I want to get to the bottom of Kindling too. (I also want a Kindle but that's another topic for a different thread!!!) I'm really starting to think, after the last couple of days, that increased cravings could be chemical, not just entirely mental. It was doing my noggin in... can tell you that much!

Thanks for all your help Jacks... phone and PMs... it is greatly appreciated. xxx
What the feck is Kindling Zenners ????????

Have a lewk through this,Satzuma. I've booked marked it so I can have a proper read.

                  https://www.mywayout.org/community/f9...ngs-65988.html

I don't know if I'm over simplifying it, but it seems to me each time you stop drinking then go back to drinking it gets harder and harder to get back on the wagon.

I know I've had several medical detoxes but the last one nigh on finished me off. I didn't get all the symptoms of withdrawals but I've always been shit scared of taking an alcoholic seizure (seen a couple and not a pretty sight). I could probably have got away the last time with a few pretty crap days but I just didn't want to risk it.

                          Will you stop fretting.

Lewk at me. I'm learning new things all the time and I'm well more ancient than you.

It's just our brains are fuller as we get older and we tend to forget some bleeding obvious things.

                          Simples.

Right off to have some of them oval things on toast
