According to my sports correspondent that's just been up the road to watch the match. We were lucky to get that far and thank God we don't have to face Germany.

I think you've just opened the door to your sobriety here Zen. I reckon there comes a time when we need to face the reality and get humble. I'm no shining example, but for me, we must simply surrender, and admit booze has, and will kick our arse.

I know how she feels. For Ms A and me it's hard to deal with. With hubs that do not recognise the signs but expect you to drink out in pub but not have wine with dinner at home 'cos that's just weird alko behaviour

I know it's hard for you too with no-one to be accountable to Mr Bear - I can imagine I'd get up to all sorts without Mr Satz on my case sometimes

Must be really frustrating when your husband cannot or will not understand your relationship with drink.
