Health problems came later especially as I ramped up. The reflux got worse but I always had that and I had meds for it from the doc.
Really nothing bad just the usual stuff, sleeping in the car in the driveway (I made it home?), no recall of conversations, things like that. Doc telling me my liver tests are off the charts.
Then I finally got pancreatitis. They could not definitively prove it was that but were pretty sure. That's a sure fire signal of alcoholism unless you are prone to it. I was in the hospital for a week on a dialaudid drip (stronger than morphine). Maybe worse than the time I had a kidney stone pain wise.
Otherwise, just stupid things like injuring myself and junk. Got lucky I guess. I am having more issues sober. Life is like that. Sorry to hear about your fires.
