Freddie's looking goooooooooooooooood, Stirls.
There's a young lady here who might like to meet him.:h
Ackshully saying that Black Bess has been panting and pacing round the floor because of the thunder. Just managed to get some of them calmy type dog pills down her throat and it's stopped. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Thunder and lightening and torrential rain for the last 3+ hours. Mr JC's stuck in the office as either the roads are flooded and the ones that aren't are grid locked.

The first time she trimmed Freddo a bit so he wouldn't soil himself when he pooped. The second time, because warmer weather was approaching, she trimmed him even more. Freddie, as you can see, is a lovely blonde dogger. However, he has black at both ends - nose and um, er, family jewels. However, they were always covered by fur. After the second trim they were right out in the open. Younger son was here not long after Easter when Freddie had just been freshly trimmed and suddenly he turned to his Dad and said - "Hey, were Freddie's balls always black?"
Boys, you gotta love them....:HFor every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

I hope Mr. JC gets home okay....
I only just started taking him six months ago Reccie. Had him done just before Christmas and then before Easter and now, so that makes it once every three months so far. Mr. Stirly complained about the cost - only 20 euro - but I don't care. It's so much easier for me than bathing him myself in the shower stall and then having to carry him dripping out on to the balcony and let him dry a bit and then brush him for an hour. And I can only do that during the warm months. She trims the hair around his paws and cuts his nails, and trims the hair on his butt. Then she blow-dries his fur brushing him all the time. It makes for much, much less shedding after the bath when the fur is blown dry and brushed at the same time which, in turn, means a lot less hair for me to vacuum up.
Potatoes are the theme of the day today....cottage pie for lunch and I've got gratin dauphinois in the oven now. Should be ready at half-time in the footy. I don't mind who wins as long as Germany lose!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 6 MONTHS MOLLERS! ) )
Yooo Hoooo to the rest of the troops! Busy day Chez Zens today... lots of housework and much moving of furniture and I appear to have done something to my wrist in the process... dratts. Been trying to get to some horrid paperwork and haven't managed... but the thought of it looming seems to have kept me motivated on the cleaning front!Hiya Zennie-butt. I missed you there. Sounds like you've got a very busy day. I hope your wrist doesn't give you any grief.

Zens - the only job round the house I like is ironing -- I can iron for like 94 hours just to put off paper work - you'd wanna mind the wrist tho! My feet are bout size 24 at the mo. hot and swollen - jaysus it's been a pig of a week at work but I've been rewarded with a peachy week next week and a nice place on Sat. so all's good
Can't see anything in the fridge that appealsI hate ironing with a passion. Managed to do it for an hour today and I was not a happy camper.

I would get thru a MOUNTAIN of paperwork rather than iron.
