    Wunderoos July

    Morning all.
Pizza was made last night and devoured. Pictures were forgotten but Missy wins.
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning Sunny and all to come! Sunny, Leons little face looks like Mr Happs after my shopping venture...did I mention I bought a poncho???

Being a bit B&I this morning, have to jump in the shower in a sec as I got chook poo up my leg, how? Ronnie I hope the docs appointment brings some relief. And that all of your menfolk are spoiling you rotten.

Eggs and a banana for brekkie....not quite the same as Saturday...

        Well Morning All.
Is there anything better than left over curry for breakfast?
Well, there probably is but ......
        Very dapper hat there Leon.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Loved the hat and ear muffs Haps. Beautiful weather here for now though, but it is cold.
Leon this morning is cooing away.
Think I am going for a long walk with him in a bit.

            Well ain't that the truth!

Morning gang - hope Missy and Ronnie and anybody else under the weather gets some relief today. Gee it's nice to see our lovely little Leon smiling. Just warms the cockles - as did Happ's sharing her Melbourne experience.

Just the usual post-visitor clean up for me ... oh frabjous joy, calloh callay ...

Went into work for an early morning meeting that didn't happen. and then came home again and went back to sleep. Have to go in for another at 5pm which is a bugger. At some time last night I coughed in a way that put my neck out, so I'm feeling like a real bundle of joy today.

Ronnie - we can be misery guts together for another day, but by Wednesday I want us out there well and healthy again :l I did use the opportunity of being in town to go to the health food store and get some magic potions, and also some fresh orange juice.

Gosh, if I can get the pizza prize without even posting pics, I think I might try something more ambitious - like a house makeover, or building a rocket or painting a work of art :H:H

I wonder if Mr B could be persuaded to make some chicken soup for me .........

                Lunchtime check in,

Had a message from our mate Techie to let you know that his surgery went ok, he now has a gas bubble in the eye to keep the swelling down, that he has to keep his head down for 5 - 7 days and that he loves you all.

The combination of ipad and ipatch made for some interesting typing but I think i got the gist...

So Missy - did you persuade Mr B on the chicken soup thing?

no, but he did do lemon honey and ginger accompanied by panadol

Glad Techie's surgery went okay - he has been through the wringer over the last couple of years. I'll send him a PM methinks

                    Arvo all.
There seems to be a pox on this thread at the moment between infected mouths, sickly eyeballs and congested lungs, I think I'll light the sage smudge stick and get rid of the bad spirits if that suits everyone

A superb relaxing day here in the gentle winter sun.
I believe Happs will be cleaning and restocking the raided larder today.

Okay what's happening? Where is everyone?
Winter is soup season. Had a beautiful Leek, pea, and broccoli soup.
Been hanging out with my fav seven week old.
Hubs had interviewed for a new job within his company, and he didn't get it. Thing is, they have had him doing the job for the role minus the pay for the last year. Feel bad as he is bummed.
                      Masterchef soon.

Earth Hour for me. Just a reminder ... if you need to, re-read Desiderata ...

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
