yee hah!! I have to do a corporate presentation tomorrow and I haven't had to do anything like that for years. And I clean out my wardrobe on a regular basis and mostly wear cheap and comfy these days!! But I kept a really nice jacket that I bought in about 1990, and always liked wearing it, because it was simultaneously smart but also slightly biker-girly. Anyway, I threw it in the washing machine over the weekend, ironed it last night, and wore it down to the dairy to get some milk just to see whether it still felt comfortable. And got asked by someone who keeps up with fashion whether it was a Starfish original (Wellington designer - gorgeous stuff, but I don't think they do stuff in my size :-))

So I shall be wearing that tomorrow, with confidence :-) Might even break out some lipstick :-)

Ronnie - hope you are ready to feel better with me tomorrow :-) You can loan my jacket if you need to ....

Hope all the under the weather undies feel better soon! :l

Back from shopping and scored some good finds. I'd say half my Christmas shopping is done. Had some lovely Malaysian food as well while I was out.

Missy, I think your jacket sounds awesome.
I remember finding a dress in my moms closet from 1977. I had it altered and wore it to a school dance in 1996. Everyone wanted to know where I got it.:H Point is some things never go out of style.

              Lovely bird Froglette!

Another member (please let me get this right) 'Lavande' made her a most beautiful embroidered cap. It was a standard baseball style cap but across the front were the words "F*ck Cancer" and the * part was a superb pink ribbon. I wish I could find the pic again. It was simply beautiful.
Hiya Undies. Just thought I'd post this for those of you who wanted to see it.

Earth Hour for me. Now remember Ronnie ... you can suck the soup through a straw and tonight we've left you some buttered white bread soldiers with the crusts cut off for dunking.

                  Be well, all Undies. Nighters.

                          Hello Undies!
Wow, I am going to have to learn to use my mobile phone as a computer to log on to the Undies.... I am missing out on so many days with you the last 6 months, and it takes a long time to catch up and I don't respond to as many posts as I'd like to.

                          Happs,
your weekend in Melbourne looked absolutely wonderful.

Are we going to have a fondue comp soon?

Tawn to answer your question from yesterday, I have a brother galaxy 2100, can't do caps on it though, I like the one Stirly posted, might steal that Idea and embroider it on a shirt, if I do I will post a picture...

I've had a most wonderful morning watching a little cormorant which seems to have taken up residence around the pond. Beautiful critter.

Where's Raggsy? Last seen going to the Opera ...
