      Morning all
      Techie its so good to have you back xxxxxx hope you are looking after yourself
      Well today i will be cleaning my house. .. What an exciting life i lead!
      We have been invited to a 40th birthday of which i am tempted to go to as i feel i need to get away from these 4 walls for a bit, but i will be the one driving so i know i will be safe, all i have to do now is talk hubbie into it as he is a misserable sh*t lately.
      Well im off for my coffee

        Well afternoon folks. Superb day here. It's going to be a very laid back weekend ahead of the boy going back to school on Tues. A spot of gardening this morning and a read this arvo. That'll do I think.
        It's almost like spring is here already. Time to get the raised beds extended and start sowing for early crops methinks.
        Good to see you back Techie, and in form as usual.
        If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

          Arvo all,

          You know ... a lack of Undie appearance on a Saturday arvo is an excellent thing. Means they're all up and about doing stuff and not sitting around hitting the piss and being morose.

          Wish I had Bridgee's weather. Still cold, wet and grey down here. I reckon Nicey must have snuck off on her 2-week break. Hope she brings us back something nice.

          2 loaves of sourdough rye made as is a potential entry into the Great Pasta Challenge - we shall see after I feed it to impending lunch guests tomorrow.

          Other than that - my beautiful cormorant is eating my fish. Bastard.

          Good to see you Techie - even though you've blown my cover.

            popping in here to say hello!

            My sister came down today to spend the day with mum. I am very grateful to her for that - she does it every two months or so, and it just takes the pressure off me a bit. And whenever she comes down it is last minute notice as she gets the last minute cheap flights.

            But she drives me mental :H:H Heart of gold, but she talks all the time and has a number of prejudices that I find difficult to deal with and some very odd religious beliefs. And because mum is going a bit deaf, all this is done at high volume!!

            I love her to bits, really, but I will be very happy in 11 minutes time when I take mum back to the rest home and my sister back to the airport

            And very glad to be in a space where I can deal with it without getting wound up

            Vent over, normal programming to be resumed soon. Hope all undies are having a great day!!

                        Some friends have just had their first kiddo, a whopping 10 pounder by C-section. They're over the moon. The mum is 38 and apparently considered a 'geriatric' mother ...

                              Been to visit an old (about 78) friend. Haven't seen him for a while. Poor bugger he's fairly lonely and has just had a hip replacement and was upset that he couldn't attend Mr Rags dads funeral as he was in hospital. So Mr Rags and i will make an effort to visit more often.
                              Now, I have to read back what's happened the last couple of days.

                                Evening my beloved doodyheads,
                                I went very well on the AF July and felt wonderous.. even survived difficult Syd trip of whineing and dhining, only to be underdone by the flu once home (household remedies for evil brhonchial coughage is unfortunately al). That will teach me to go on a holiday.. nasty holiday germs.. gak!
                                Ho hum.. I retire to the lounge and pull on galoshers to re-try tomorrow. Hopefully rest of July is joyful once again for me and of course all of yous battlers!
