Then we spent some time in Federation square, left my camera and phone in the hotel room...damn...

Back around the city to Southgate where we saw some geegees getting around the city..

Then chocolate and beetroot cake - shared - for afternoon tea...



back for a nap...then out to Little Bourke Street for asian soup for dinner and an early night....early morning and home today!!

Think thats it...had the best trip...and I know its very food and CAKE focussed - apologies - but its also the first time I've been away totally grog monster free. Was the best fun...feet are still sore from walking so much...

Another good thing was that the house is in one piece, the animals have all been cared for and the locusts got along fine without us. Missed them and they us, but its nice to see them coping with independence so well...await stories as the week unfolds....will pump my little one for info...
