Rags - I was thinking about your lamb shanks - I throb them with mashed spuds and because they tend to be fairly rich I usually have them with a green salad which acts as a bit of a grease-cutter instead of veg. But I'm a bit of a salad head anyway ...

And does anyone know what happened to our horse riders? Last night we were doing so well in the xc (admittedly I only saw the first rider) then this morning we are 6th!
And the mens hockey was a fast and furious game.
I guess I better do some dinner and settle in for more olympics... unless there's something better on TV.

Yum that looks brilliant I slept all day and I'm starving ( good sign?). Great to see you guys yes I'm back and I'm in a hole and I'm determined to crawl out if it if I have too. Things have been slowly getting worse vis a vis drinking since my dad had a foot amputated about 4 months ago but it was still pretty bad before that...has been progressing the sneaky bugger and I feel that AF is the way to go for the forseeable future ( even to the weekend would be great right now). Cashy xxx

Yep diabetes not good and now mum and dad have both just had pneumonia - they look very frail it's scary. AF to this weekend feels doable.
