Ah well. You got to witness the moment and probably wouldn't have made it hungover. :goodjob:

We did that a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely hissing down, but soooooooooo exciting. Then we went to the airport to see my cousin off and 3 torch-bearers and there blooming torches sat down next to us. Nearly passed out with excitement.

It was great to be sober, it is great to be sober. If not I would not have even mad it out of the house. Just read something you said on another thread, Dest, about bottling that good feeling and using it next time you feel like a drink. I am having my 2 year old grandson to stay on wednesday, and I also read on another thread how good it is to be trusted to look after a child. I have plenty of reasons to stay sober, and I must keep reminding myself, because it is so easy to become complacent.

                Morning Steppers!
I remember watching the torch go by. Absolutely amazing.
(But, wow JC - they sat down next to you!?!?!?!?)

RC - The twig furniture is beautiful. I'm so sorry that you had to sell it. :l

Afternoon Steppers I wouldn't go below $400 Mama. If I was to replace that craftsmanship it prolly be $1000+. They sell similar looking crap at Wallyworld and CrappyTire for the consumeristic public with no concept of value. Ah well the beat goes on....

Still not made my juice. Started to trim Mia's nails and nicked the quick. A little blood only thank goodness. Will have to attempt again later. She's such a sweetheart...just snuggled in tight and didn't run away or bite me.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Losing a pet is devastating. I hope Ruby's new puppy will help her with the healing process.
