I guess TTDP is more polite than the mantra I've been using. Today, I swallowed the pill without thinking about it though. So, I guess that's a good thing.

Was Mama having a beer craving? Oh I thought she was having a "bee" craving (typo...lol). Yes, sorry Mama... I know how hard it is. The thought of a nice cold beer is very decieving. Push past those first few sips, fast forward to beer #12 and the feelings that go with it. We both know that neither of us would stop at refreshing beer #1, we'd soldier on until puke-inducing beer #12!

Nora - TTFP works just fine too! Some days I feel more in the "F" mood than the less offensive "D" mood...hehe

ANOTHER resident has died...two this week
heart attack...the wife was in here sobbing for an hour
I try to be here for my residents, but honestly they suck the life out of me at times
feeling a little jittery right now, but it will pass
30 days in a padded room sounds so inviting right now

OMG Mama, I'm so sorry...how horrible to have to deal with that. You know, I'm really sick of that bastard DEATH this week....UGH!!!

I have to go to the vets office at lunch today to pay for Charlie's cremation...his body is still there...seems like SO long ago I took him in, but it was only Sunday. I'll be glad to get him back in his little box and put it up on the fireplace with his picture. Before I took him in, I also cut off a little piece of his hair for a keepsake...

Ok, enough morbid talk!

Mama, I think you should shop around for a large stuffed bee and punch it next time you get a craving.

I had a strong craving yesterday, probably fueled by the wine I drank on Sunday. It finally did pass. Sometimes those cravings have lasted for hours for me, until I finally give in. Not this time! Not next time! No More!

K9, you are better at cleaning bathrooms than I am. At that hour I would have let it go until "tomorrow".

Nora, what games do you play? I got into solitaire while on vacation last winter.

Normally I would too, but it was growing teeth and hair and I was afraid it was going to breed overnight. LOL

Believe me, I turned a blind eye to the rest of the bathroom! I'll conquer that this weekend. Been wanting to try that new cleaning product KaBOOM! Not only do I like the name, the infomercials mesmerize me! hehehe

I am home and feel like I have been hit by a truck.....what a day!!!
stuffed bee...too cute Sunbeam. I am proud of you for not caving...wasn't it nice to wake up this morning and not be hungover??
Stuffed chicken enchiladas in the oven and I am going to read for a bit
I want to watch the Olympics, but when I logged on to post here, I saw who won....damn it
on a happy note..I was out getting some supplies at Sam's for work and splurged and bought hubs a gorgeous watch. He is so tickled!!! He works so hard and gets discouraged by our finances, so I wanted to give him a "no reason" present. He got teary and said "I don't deserve this." I almost cried too...it was a sweet moment for us.

I avoided the death topic earlier, but that wasn't meant to be. One of my two closest friends died this afternoon in a car accident. We shared many interests including gardening. She was pulling out of the garden center, and got hit by a truck. Visibility isn't great at that corner because there are so many flowers. We would have been at Yoga class this afternoon, but it was postoned due to a death in the instructor's family. We used to enjoy wine together, then we switched to Watermelon. Life is short, live your dreams now.

Thanks, friends. Definitely signing up for that Alaska trip a year from now. Its a combo cruise/bus tour, 12 nights. We will probably add a couple of days to see Vancouver.

K9...you are a better woman than me....I totally woul've turned a blind eye on it until the next day! Ha! I have used KaBoom but I have found that those little scrubbing bubbles guys work better!!!
