Nice one Tabbers. A week off would be bliss I think. We work in such stressy environments that being at home and away from it all is sometimes all that is required to get the balance back. Is it next week you are off?Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Sure is then I have my review when I get back. No worries on that front but I need to sort my t&c and wage structure as promised. If not I will start looking elsewhere, not that there is much choice for an old geezer like myself but I think sometimes we need to make our choices for all the right reasons and stick to them.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Its not necessarily me thinking that Starty, its prospective employers. Just read this, this morning:
Ireland's unemployment rate rose to an 18-year high of 14.9 per cent in June, underscoring the country's struggle to stimulate economic growth in the face of austerity measures, government statisticians reported Wednesday.
The rising joblessness could have been worse but for Ireland's tradition of mass emigration in times of economic hardship.
The Central Statistics Office says about 76,000 left this country of 4.5 million last year for stronger job markets in other English-speaking countries — chiefly Britain, Australia and Canada — and the trend has continued this year.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Good morning, Army
Now that I've gotten up off the floor after falling over from shock at who the thread starter was...
Considering a 30% + unemployment rate in countries like dear old Saffaland should place things in perspective... Not to mention poverty levels.I'll do whatever it takes

Good morning all. Yes Tipps that does put it all in to perspective. I suppose when I started work there was very little unemployment here in the UK and we were not aware of poverty etc elsewhere except for our collections in Convent schools for overseas orphans! We were so bloody patronising and way off the mark.
