Hiya satz.....no, I've not run since early last week owing to an achilles injury. Should be able to run very soon though, hopefully. In the meantime, I walk at least once or twice daily instead.
You seem to be doing well exercise-wise....what are your goals?

Bottom line is I want to lose 2 stone !
I am now going to look at the walk / run thing as I although I have toned a bit - the clothes & scales are EXACTLY the same and that is how we judge it really isn't it :upset:

Mmmm....if your goal is weight loss, you'll have much more success by controlling what you eat than by increasing the amount you exercise. Exercise has some effect on weight, but it's not nearly as effective as changing your diet. My 2c worth....you don't have to drastically reduce the amount you eat, you just need to change what you eat. It doesn't have to be painful either.....healthy food tastes every bit as good as unhealthy food, if not better....and, in my experience, it's usually cheaper. What's not to like?

Hello Army!! Finally logged in-but can't get things working. Internet is very SLOOOOW here and there's loads of people in the room. Having trouble to get photos on the piglet site-they won't load. :upset: I have never said I was a computer genius but this is ridiculous! Grrrr...I'll have to wait for my daughter to help me.
On a happy note...the weather is gorgeous and we are trying to settle into holiday mode.
I'll be back in a bit-trying to track down my child to help me with the computer!!!
Miss you all-I have loads of reading back to do-I know! Probably never catch up but I'm thinking of you all. xxxx

Example : My first bpyfriend wanted to go to OZ in the 70's - I wouldn't go 'cos I had a job I loved -he did and married , had 6 kids & a million grandkids :H
We're still in touch

Ok...reccybear news today.....some positive and some negative
The negative...over the past couple of days I've gradually realised it was a mistake to stop the ADs. I find myself constantly spontaneously dissolving into a puddle of tears for no good reason whatsoever. Need to arrange an appt with my lovely GP as soon as poss to see about renewing the citalopram.
And the positive....(I think! ). I signed up for a short course today.....fitness, football, and wellbeing at the Oxford United stadium in September:
Oxfordshire Mind
Don't think I'll make any new friends there, so I'll prolly have to sign up for a learning course somewhere else too... Maybe stirly was right after all...
