Older son became godfather today to the wee son of friends of his. As parents of the godfather, we were invited along with the baby's family to a meal at a taverna afterwards. I pigged out. Literally. I can manage to eat regular portions here a home but always pig out when I eat out. The food was so delicious. When we got there, the tables were set and there were baskets of bread laid out. After everyone got there, they proceeded to bring on the food...

Greek Salad
Romaine lettuce and arugula salad with a Parmesan cheese and balsamic dressing
Tzatziki
Cheese pies
Batter fried zucchini
Cheese platter with olives
Grilled veggies - eggplant, peppers, onions in balsamic vinegar sauce
French fries with grated cheese
Grilled country sausages
Mixed platter of greens, zucchini and beetroot
Mixed grill of lamb chops, pork pancetta, grilled chicken, beef biftekia, pita bread triangles with a bowl of spicy creamy feta in the middle.
Dessert was chocolate cake with ice cream.

I think I might not eat at all tomorrow. I'm still stuffed even after so many hours.

Off to walk the dogger. Baccinnabit.
