Afternoon army just got the grass cut on front and did weeding. I'm knackered and i still have to cut back the cherry tree as its very overgrown but do that later or tomorrow. Its warm and the sun is in and out. Sorry to hear you have a chest infection jc and more anti-biotics to take i hope it clears for you soon. Well done Reccie and to Anon for you running and enjoy the squash game later Reccie. Think i'll have to have a nana nap my eyes are closing. Be back later.

Only a novice gardener here but I think its too early to prune a flowering cherry tree, would have thought sept onward was a better time.

Evening all fell asleep for a few hours and woke up to heavy rain. Glad i got the grass cut. Maybe your right tabbers might be too early but i'll just trim back a bit as its quite overgrown and the branches are taking over the midle of the garden and blocking light so i'll just trim back a bit as it won't affect spring flowering well it never does. Was going to get rid of it as it does grow very fast when not flowering but its lovely when it does flower. Just havin a coffee and watchin tv till i get dinner later.:television::cupajoe:
