Underoo's and Innashnal guests, August 2012!

So - fast forward some three months - the happy parents are no more and have split. So in my mind, in another ten or so years' time I see another Mr.B and partner and boy doing battle with the manipulative ex. Fusk!

And you KNOW you're an old fart when you think that people just bail out too soon. FFS, kiddos, you're 27 - you've had a domestic. You're going to pull the pin totally? When there's a kid involved?

Yes I do remember your going to the birthday party and your comments at the time. And .... and ... and .......... not in a position to judge your friends.

But I was very heartened today, when in the debate about gay marriage (currently going through our Parliament) the focus was on family stability for kids. Irrespective of whether their parents or gay or straight.

                            Hello my lovelies,

My life is now totally roooonnned!!!

The other day, when I was walking from post code 2753 to post code 2756 I popped into this amazing little shop called crazy.beautiful.life.... You can now imagine the most bewdiful little country, arty farty, gorgie, spesh things all through a shop with a name like that can't you? I was in heaven just browsing, WHEN I found the ONLY thing on this planet that will make my life totally and uniquely complete!!!! A wire sculpture ferris wheel, set on a block of worn out wood. Oh my......she was soooo bewdiful. When I was a little girl my mother always bought me a new dress to go to the annual local show (Bathurst). The new dress was exciting enough, but the excitement I felt when I first laid eyes on the ferris wheel can never be adequately described by moi!!!! As I was on a fairly long walk I decided I'd pop back the next day to purchase the piece I knew would settle my soul for eternity. I was on springs walking up the street and into the shop. The ferris wheel was placed in the very front of the shop but things had been moved around slightly so I didn't let the panic set in immediately. I scanned the shelves, under tables, around corners and finally spied my treasure beyond the front room sitting on a bench beyond the cash register counter. I thought that I had missed the 'back' section of the shop and went to walk out to see what other goodies might be hidden but then realized it was a no go zone!!! Kylie, the shop owner asked if I needed some help and I squeezed the question out of my constricted throat, threw my now bone dry mouth and quivering lips. "Why is the ferris wheel out the back? She isn't sold is she??" I could see the answer in Kylie's eyes....... She was lost to me forever! Before I could ask, Kylie told me the supplier had said that they would no longer be supplying ferris wheels so she wasn't getting any more in. "oh...." I squeaked. I staggered home, I cried and cried then searched the net for a ferris wheel just like the one I almost had....... Zip! Nada! Nothing! Zero.............

I should have put a down payment on her, or gone straight back late that afternoon.......... I just never thought anyone would want her as much as I did...........

                            Biggest sigh.............

Love to you all and I hope that you all have your "ferris wheels" firmly coveted.

                            As ever, Nicey.
