Here's another story for Leon...


Once upon a time there was an Aunty Rags who lived in a house with a dark, south facing kitchen. LAst week while she was getting into her car after going to the gym, she noticed she was parked next to a skylight installer's van. She rang the mobile number on the side of the van, and arranged to meet him next day. ......
Now Leon, what do you think happened??
YES! You're right!
Aunty Rags arranged to have a skylight installed in the darkest part of the kitchen....
So this morning at 8 am there was a knock on the bright red door.... Can you see the bright red door Leon?

Hmmm... see how dark and gloomy it is?
Now watch very carefully Leon? Can you see anything happening?

Yes, the ceiling is getting sawn away....

And fifteen minutes later... look Leon, look. Light without turning on the lights.....




Aunty Rags was so impressed with the lovely light that she arranged for the nice man to come back and install another one at the other end of the kitchen......
It will only take 87 years to recoup the electricity saving. Isn't that clever of Aunty Rags.

Aren't I lucky!
I received an email from the Google Corporation telling me I've won zillions of pounds.
Unfortunately I deleted it before I replied, but they were so understanding a few hours later I received another email saying I'd won a consolation prize.
Funny how they want all my details though.
Wonder how many get sucked in.
It looks more professional than the Uganda scams.

Thanks Techie, I think it will be well worth the money. And when summer comes there'll be heaps more light with the sun higher in the sky.

Mr Rags and I are going to Sinny to get our hair done, then zooming up to Lake MQ to clean/check our friends boat and make arrangements for its bottom to be cleaned when we get back so we can sail it.
Then back to inny at arvo to catch up with the friend we missed dinner with a couple of weeks ago .
Then on Sunday... WE PACK!!!!!
I'm taking a lot more clothes than I need... will leave a lot in Africa.
Now, all I have to do is get this back and foot sorted out and I'll be able to tackle the world.... with the help of drugs. Am on cadapane forte.
So yet again, I will miss acouple of days and keep playing catch up with your informative and entertaining posts.

There's a bit of roof left on the northern side, but its covered in solar panels for leccy and H2O.


Have managed to lose 2.5 kilos since beginning of August. Not as much as I'd hoped for, but not bad considering my physio has banned me from the gym as is was exacerbating my back problem
