... but of course, living in a cooler climate has its advantages. One can melt some butter and oil, add a clove of garlic, some paprika and a pile of thinly sliced King Browns, saute until done, add a good slurp of sour cream and pile the lot onto a freshly toasted crumpet ... made entirely on your very own pot-belly stove which has a functioning flue.

That, my friends, was this morning's Breakfast of Frogs.
