Oh Lilly, the poor little tacker. All things crossed for a successful surgery.

It's pissing down here, hail and all. And bloody cold and windy.

Underoo's and Innashnal guests, August 2012!

Good afternoon Undies, gee everything is hapening on this thread at the moment.
cashy, keep us up to date with your mum and dad. you're having a rough trot at the moment.

What a bastard to deliberately run over the ducklings.

How was the sushi Happy? Sunny? leon?

We have a little almost sc shed down the back.... the duplex conversation is giving me thoughts......

Hi Nicey, not a lot happening. Am preparing to pack and taking 3 times as many clothes as I need as I'll be leaving them there. Also taking colour pencils and some exercise books.

The first custody hearing comes up next week for my girlfriends kids. The grandfather is confused by it all, and I won't be there to help. He gets very easily confused over some things and then says some really inappropriate things (often in the childrens hearing) which I keep asking him to stop think and try to work out before blundering on. He wants the best for the kids and he is the only one able to provide the love, protection and care that they need, but he is a simple man who shouldn't have had this situation thrust upon him. I don't think he'll cope very well at the hearings, whereas the father is a cunning, manipulative and vicious bastard. If he does get the kids, he will absolutely refuse contact with their grandfather, or any of their mothers friends. The kids will be completely under his control. He only wants them for the addditional Centrelink payments and to ensure he can stay in Australia.
It is quite a scary situation.
I'm going to ring the grandfather tonight after Mr Rags comes home and reads all the emails etc. He is terrified the father will intimidate the kids ( quite probable) and have a bunch of his Tongan mates along to intimidate the grandfather (also probable). Thats why you have court sheriffs though.

That's really sad Lilly. I hope it goes well.

Geez Rags, that's a worry and really sad too. It is hard to watch the injustice of things like this play out. You're a good soul to be taking stuff to leave behind. I bet you leave a lot more than clothes and pencil behind too! I always remember that where ever you (meaning any one of us) go, there YOU are. And, in the case of the YOU being Rags - that's a bloody good thing me thinks!!

Tawny - I'm waiting for the clock to get to a respectable home time for the boss (me). I want to get home and check that all is ok there. The wind here would blow a dog off a chain I'm telling ya!!!! It's 'orrible, and distracting........

            Hugs to Cashy.:l

Bridgey and G man sitting in a tree, k.i.double S.i.n.g - how very mature of me..........:H

Hello all and thank you for thinking of us. Mum has pnuemonia and they think she had a mild heart attack last week. I spoke to her on the phone this afternoon she could hardly talk and was on a ventilator...but the prognosis is ok.
Dad is feeling much better they pumped him full of intravenous fluid retention medication and the lungs are clearing.
I am coping best I can and i am not drinking - couldn't think of anything worse quite frankly. But I'm still sleeping a hell of a lot....sleeping beauty eat your heart out.
Thanks again everyone you are good mates.

For shits sake, I just lost a long post addressing all of the details I've missed over the last two weeks through quick reading.

Bugger it. I'm not typing it out again, so

                I love youz all....
                That'll have to do.

Lilly I hope the poor little kid can be treated simply with a couple of proceedures, and that his case is simple. What a bloody worry for those parents.

Raggsy, Grandad need not tolerate any bollocks from the father. I'd give the Sherriff's Office forward notice and also ask the advice of the Clerk of the Court.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Think that was for a different reason!! Love the Don lived in Norwood for 20 years and always saw him in the supermarket and restaurants....best Premier ever!!

Cashy it is fantastic resilience on your part that you are going through all this and not reaching for a bottle. You're right, drinking would really screw things up .

Yeah, I'm going to ring him as soon as Mr Rags gets home. That's a thought giving prior notice, or could that be seen as him attempting to be intimidating? I'll get Mr Rags' thoughts on that.

I loved the Don. He was a great visionary. Should've been PM.

Bugger, I have a pic of him in his pink shorts but photobucket is down.

Yes re prior behaviour. Arrested twice that grandfather knows of ... for D&D and once for assault. The assault was later dropped by the court as it was deemed he was provoked.
Also police records of a few times my girlfriend rang police re domestic violence.

WTF didn't she leave him?? Almost like she was a professional victim. What a bloody mess she left for others to try to sort out. I loved her dearly but geez....

Ditto me re my FIL, my girlfriend, my other friends who have recently departed , and of course, when I have problems. You are sort of my family, and definitely my friends as I are socially isolated... which I guess is my fault (a bit).
