      You've always been quite pro-active with the issue haven't you Mr G? I think I remember you marching a couple of years ago...white ribbon day???

        Yes i did Bridge, and will again. I also trained as a t/phone counsellor in that area, but haven't had the time to finish it. Eeedgit org. running it too i thought, but some good blokes in the front line as volunteers.

          Evening Undies, lots happening here, so just having a read back.

          Great catch up with Sunny, Mr Sunny and Leon today. Had a coffee then went for sushi and talked for ages. Leon is gorgeous but I dont have to tell you that. He is so alert and funny when he laughs. Just what I needed...

            are you watching the 'gorrrmay farmer' on SBS on now? He's bought a little farm in Cygnet Tassie and getting veggie patch, pigs, chooks etc together. Noice part of the world, and i know you've thought about Tassie before. Yo!

              Sometimes I think we go into it in the full knowledge that it won't be perfect, but we'll have to pull what we can out of it

                      A quick fly by from me ........ we are heading off tomorrow to see Mr B's boy, so I have been busy doing the home baking thingy (Anzac biscuits, which I reckon are relatively healthy, but also a big unhealthy chocolate slice, which he will need to eat a lot of quickly else it will melt!!) and trying to get the house to some semblance of normality for when I get back on Sunday.

                      Like Bridge, just want to say :thanks: and throbbage to you all - not having much time here at the mo with everything that is going on, but not a day goes past when I'm not wondering what you are all up to.

                        Whoops starting to make snappy posts in the med section should just shut my mouth!! Need a rest I think it just worries me that meds are taken without prescription and seemingly very little knowledge while people are drinking as well- arrrggghh. And it's not deemed to be dangerous ...eek. I took baclofen for my focal dystonia it's a bugger of a drug - why not use gabapentin it does the same thing with a much lower side effect profile....oh shut up Cashy ranting again...sorry folks must be all the pressure getting to me...but would love to know what you all think??? Is it really a good thing to take off label drugs without a doctors guidance, especially if you are abusing alcohol??

                              1 cup flour
                              1 cup sugar
                              1 cup rolled oats
                              1 cup desiccated coconut
                              175 grams butter
                              2 tablespoons golden syrup
                              1 teaspoon vanilla essence
                              1 teaspoon baking soda
                              2 tablespoons boiling water

                              I had never heard of Anzac biscuits, so of course googled it. Is this similar to the recipe Bridge & Missy are referring to?

                                Hiya Walli ... yes, that looks about right! They're very yummy and adding the oats and honey makes us think they're healthy. I used to think the same thing when making Atholl Brose. :upset:

                                Morning Undies ... still raining here and the bloody roadworks continue. When.will.it.end??????
