    Hi Cashy. I'm sorry to see you go. Some threads can be a bit contentious. While I do love debate you need to keep in mind the complexities of the forum. Some folk continue to drink, some are using meds that are self prescribed, and others are just total loons. In time, long termers just seem to find the right fit. You will too. You seem like a very bright, passionate, engaged person that has had some of life's bitter hardships thrown into the mix. It can be tough getting your point across in some threads. The prevaricators are few, but supportive friends here are many.

      Don't you worry yourself about any brouhaha Cashy. As Techie alludes to, there are people here in various states of (dis)repair, so don't take anything personally. I hope you feel comfortable and safe enough to post updates as to how you are feeling here, if you find it useful. Either way, all the best to you and your dad and family, and someone is always here.

          I have a gathering to go to and must take food and bugger me I never know what to make for these things......suggestions?????? Help!!!!!

            Bridge - Chang's crispy Noodle salad? Always a bit of a hit.

              I'd go with the Labne balls. If they don't eat them they can play with them. Food should be fun!

                  had a lovely day out yesterday, get together at friends place, we all brought our sewing machines and did quite a bit of sewing.. had great fun...

                    GOOD MORNING!!! Jumping around, waving, sending love......

                    So, here we are at the tail end of the week. Yee haawww me says!!!

                    Cashy - I commented on the thread you're talking, about I think. Man, things get tricky outside our lovely thread. I never meant to offend......mmmmm. Communicating via this medium is tough. I was gobsmacked when Mr G pointed out that people post drunk/drinking/off with the pixies. It never occurred to me. FH told me last night that I'm very naive - I know it's true....can't help it though. I wish you all the strength and peace you need to look after YOU, and the ones you love!!.

                    I remember the old wrap around indian skirts and dressed. My best friend, Elaine McNair, would wear her one and only wrap dress all year long. She had blue shoulders in the winter time which offset her blonde hair beautifully. Ah, memories......

                    We've looked at so many houses over the last couple of weeks. I think I'll buy a tent.... How are you going Missy?

                    Bridge - what about a great big crispy salad. Or a chicken salad made from a bbq chicken from coles/woolies? Use cos lettuce, break up the chicken, tiny toms, spanish onion, shaved parm and drizzle with a nice dressing. Or a pasta salad with frozen peas, little bit of mint and chicken - you could add sun dried toms, stir through a good mayo - sounds weird but actually v.nice.

                    Oooops, being called - gotta run......or teeter fast on these heels!

                          Wouldn't it be just such pure magic to be walking down the street, turn a corner and run into that.

                          I'm now running upstairs to put on some Beethoven.



                          BTW tomorrow morning we're off to Africa!
                          So won't be in touch for weeks... probably not till we get to Thailand and if there's an internet kiosk as am not taking my lappie. I'll have my phone but don't want to come home to a $9,000 phone bill.
