Another beautiful Carolina day. Sober and functional-YAY
My daughter gets to port on Tuesday and I will see her next weekend. I have not seen her since November. It is absolutely going to be great!
The ex-spouse is having a party for her on the 11th at a park in my hometown. I will go there and there will be beer I'm sure. The ex and his wife know me as s drunk so it'll be nice to be sober and sensible. Frankly I'm not looking forward to seeing them but it'll be OK.
Some old frineds will be there as well as my sister so I'll be all right.
I plan to take a cooler with my new favorite kiwi strawberry water. This week has been business/social stuff and people are still surprised that I don't drink and am the first one to leave. I love it! Coming home sober and doing what I need to do, getting up early and feeling fine-you just can't beat that.
