    SASHAYED BY THE PUB

    Hi guys

I had a late lunch at a Mexican place near the local pub. When I left the usual crew was outised with their beer and cigarettes and music and shenanigans. I have foolishly spent many an afternoon there drunk and stupid. BUT that was then and this is now.
    No way.

My daughter gets off the Lincoln in VA Tuesday and I will be seeing her next weekend. It's going to be great.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Bringing another sober weekend to a close is very nice, though I do still miss the bf.

breathe a sigh of relief for another passing sober weekend. it is so much better than starting your week with shame, regret and guilt. mondays are hard enough on their own.
I must suppress the beast within so I can find my way out of the darkness.
      sober since 2/4/12

Coping with cravings is the key to tackling problem and abusive drinking. If you can manage to not give in to your cravings, or you can adapt so that you don’t get so many cravings in the first place, then there is no more addiction is there.Making yourself aware of what things in your life tend to give you cravings, and therefore how you might avoid those situations, becomes a vital skill. Always have your plan in place espeicially at the start of this journey, its a must imo.
