Mama, I am such an ignoramus in some areas. I had to go to Google Images to see what French Nails look like. I spend so much time digging in the dirt, I don't waste my money on lovely nails. I do admire them, though.

Another quiet AF day. Went to the flea market after church, wrote my article, been puttering outside as I love to do.

It is hot here today. About 100?. It's only 94? in the house right now though. :upset: I get so irritable when it's hot. Poor Scott.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Think I might go get in the pool again. So glad that we have it - it's a 15' x 42" above ground pool. Works out just fine.

Just saw this Nora.

It's hot here to 92. I hate it. I can't believe I used to like this. Now I know I'm old! Well, not totally. Kids stayed another night in a fab city. ( Bf has friends there) They will be in AZ tonight. I think it's 115 there. :upset: I couldn't handle it!..... Her Bf said it's not normally this hot in June. Global warming or sumpin.

I've been helping my Mama today. Hubs paintin, must get in shower. Have ta hook up utility trailer & go pick mattress, box spring up from daughters apt, that the other two were sleeping on while they were there. Tho sometimes they stayed with us to. Had a few tears this am. Missing them!.... Now my phone is going off. (Texts)

Sun - really liked what you wrote to me about "I don't want to drink anymore". That change in words is so powerful. Thank you.
We took a ride on an older train when my son was young. It was a train that they've used for movies many times. Back to the Future, etc. That was lots of fun.

Wild - sounds like you had a busy weekend. Wow. I just took it easy yesterday. Nice day. A couple of dips in the pool. Reading. Relaxing.

Paula - how are you doing? Did you have a nice weekend?

Hi Everyone!

Mama, I'm glad you were able to get through your BEE craving. LOL And it's good that you treated yourself to some new nails...you deserve it! How's your cold? Better I hope!

My nephew (that lives with me) has been on my LAST NERVE the last couple of days. Saturday night he had a few friends over and they hung out in his room, but they were there until FIVE AM!!! I finally texted him and told him to make everyone get OUT NOW! I was so annoyed and had such a bad night of sleep that I didn't even make it to church at 9am on Sunday. I will be darned if I let him start ruining my routine...but he managed it that time didn't he? Then, last night he comes home from the beach and takes a shower at 10pm and doesn't even bother to close the door, so the light is blaring in my eyes and it's loud, so I had to get up and close my bedroom doors (I usually keep them open so that I know what's going on throughout the house...). He's just being really self-centered and we need to have a serious chat. Ok, enough complaining. Other than that, I had a good weekend...how about everyone else???

My nephew is 19 and very self-centered. The world revolves around him you know. We ARE gonna have a talk tonight if I can pin him down long enough (and I might have to literally sit on him. LOL)

I did a lot of crocheting this weekend and started a new book. I am a WILD party animal, I tell ya! LOL

Just read what you said about AA meetings Nora, I agree I found it difficult listening to someone talk about drinking when they had been sober for years.
