Hi friends, not much to add today, the post by Anne is sad and scary.
I'm going to a free concert tonight with hubby and friends - at a winery! No thanks, none for me.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment

OMG today has been a crazy day at work. Literally...all the CRAZY folks came in to talk to me today. One guy apparently was poisoned and died, but thankfully (WHEW) they revived him...but now he'd like to file a complaint because 22 cops busted down his door! Wow...I then heard him re-telling the story about how he was stabbed.... OY VEY.
Anywhooooo...the Mayor just said Hi to me, so I am fine now. I'm exhausted but determined to make it to church tonight....I'm TOTALLY relying on my HP to get me smoke-free, and so far so good, so I better keep up my end of the bargain!

Good morning everyone, I read Ann's thread, it is so disturbing to think that we have to make such statements to get peoples attention, it just shows what alcohol can do to us, and by the response by so many, just how caring people are on mwo. I know how you feel Mama, when someone makes a statement like this and we have no way of contacting them, it causes so much worry. I do hope she gets the help she so badly needs, she certainly has a lot of support on here. I had a visit from a friend yesterday, she brought me a litre bottle of vodka !! I thought my husband would have a fit, I would have given it back to her but I didn't look in the bag until she left, my daughter drinks it so I will give it to her today, don't want it in the house for long. Well done on the smoking K9,my brother kicked the habit using hypnosis, he only had one session plus a recording..Comment
