Feeling a bit like Mario here, so I think I'll be off to bed. A few pages of my book and then dreamland. See you on the morrow, folksies.

Got lost in the land of more A level stuff.

It's GCSE results next week, I'll bet you'll be glad to know.

Oh my goodness me. I so agree with not being shoved into academia.

My cousin's son (the one who drew the penis on his German paper) was advised to go onto a further education college rather than do A levels. He was more interested in his band. He's now in Brighton with a good Music diploma and his band is starting to make a few waves.

But don't tell anyone one his day job's in a call centre. He may kill me.

Well there's a certain friggin' insurance company call centre not far from here that has 3 with law degrees, a couple with English degrees and a one with a journalism degree.

                Ya just never know.

Youz are still up at this time? Hmm...

I've declined an opportunity to go speed dating. You sit at a table and blokes rock up for a couple of mins and then they feck off to go talk to the lassie next door. I can see good things and bad things about all of that... but I declined anyway.

I'm left wondering what I would have talked about.

So I made a nice bit of salmon with asparagus (it's very cheap at the mo!) and gave the speed dating a body swerve. I have agreed to go and lurk the next time though! heh heh
