Different types of penguin have different nests. These fellows (African Penguins, I think) have shallow burrows in soil - not close to the actual sand & water. They shit in their own front yard - hence the stink. There's a wooden walkway that takes you through their nesting area.

Oh man... I need to go shopping and have to cook.

Did I tell yis I have a new lodger moving in? Bike Boy moved out shortly after the inner tube debacle. We decided it was best for him to have his own gaff. And the new one will be here for dinner with a few people he may or may not want to meet. I've known him for over 10 years and reckon it will work very well...
