E gae up from old Nairobi

Near the camping ground at Lake Victoria shore

At the leopards and the rhinos by the score

While chasing wild hyenas from the door
While Erastus does the driving
We are searching plains and trying
To get closer to the wildlife than before
When we hear a sudden hissing
And a piece of brakeline?s missing
In the Serengeti game drive No 4
We are travelling with Intrepid
And to Chris we are indebted

We spy lion and alligator
And flamingos dancing on the crater floor


Last day in Tanzania. Finn and Beethoven sat on the Serengetti plain with elephants!
Fly to Bankok tonight to start Vietnam adventure.
Give my love to Undies.
Will have some fun pics to post when I get back.

Am in Bankok but leaving in a couple of hours for Hanoi

Ahhh...much better with a lappie and not on the phone...how lovely to see the Raggsey scripts. Cooked a lamb dish from her Delicious diary tonight so must have known her presence was about....foul mood on me Undies so wont dwell too long. Might sink a cuppa and head to bed. And yep, self pity sucks...

Billy was great tonight and even took us through Techie country starting at Payboy and then heading north to the bestest ever cowboy movie scenery. Stunning stuff.

Just got off video calling hubs in Melbourne. I'm not a really a fan of being apart, but I can say we've come along way. Last time hubs and I had to be apart a few years ago, I went on a MASSIVE 5 day binge. All I can say is glad those days are behind me. I've been spending all my time with little Leon, no house work, no cooking, just being mommy. He is loving our time together. I miss him when I put him to bed.

Wow. I'm feeling the love Undies:H

In my humble opinion, this is what keeps us sober. It's one thing to abstain from alcohol, simple but not easy. The point that so many people seem to miss is this: It's what you do with your life after alcohol that keeps you sober.
And in my opinion (again) we are all pretty bloody good at doing that here.


We got that rain last night too Happs, so I have a master plan so extensive today that I'd have to be 5 women to complete it:H

That little Leon is just the bee's knees. I love getting up to a new photo.

Missy it sounds like you're very happy with your outcome there. If nothing else I suppose it's been a great exercise in clearing out and simplifying? It's got me pretty inspired to a Spring Clean (yes, capitals)

It just so happens that I have some of those self same seeds Froglette, and I think it's time to plant the rest of them and get snapping (must find doo-dad)

Good luck with Saki the drummer Mr G....I think we've established that scabbing the spinach off her plate might not work.....perhaps another approach?....:H

Ronnie, honestly, why is there always a butthead in the crowd? My personal way is to line them up and have a very animated conversation with them about how we can fix this problem that we appear to have. They invariably back off, because bullies are just incredibly insecure folk....but honestly, must they be around us ALL of our lives??? Tiresome....
