    Morning Undies, Mr G and all to come. Lovely words Mr G, the reality is we only have two hands and sometimes thats a juggle. Just because we dont play trumpet doesnt mean we're not making music dont you think?

    Goint to rip into it today and get a stack of work done so I can have time with my boys in the next two weeks, and I'm not talking about the roosters! Be well and be happy 'roos...

      Morning everybody,

      I read "From Strength to Strength" when it first came out - a most inspiring read. Sara Henderson was stuck with a giant financial mess generated by her somewhat ratbagish husband. After he died, she set out to make a huuuuuge cattle property financially viable again and with the help of her equally fascinating daughters they succeeded. It's a really good read however, since then, it's all gone to a shower of shit with major falling-out between the women and Sara's death at 68.

      Some decent precipitation here overnight and the bloody road-works continue. Apparently another five weeks of ***beep beep beep beep beep ***. Still, could be worse ... I could have five roosters ...

        I had about a zillion multi-quotes ready, but I've just deleted them all.

        But I'm loving Leon's grin

        Big MWAH's to all and I dont give them out lightly.

        And I have just sent off my application for a job in Sydney. After much angsting. I expect it to be a long time before I hear the outcome though. (It took a number of goes to be able to type "angsting" ........ spell check kept putting in "ingesting" :H:H)

        Ronnie - bullying is recognized as a H&S hazard ... is it serious enough for you to take it further?

        Rags - loved the lyrics (even though I dont know the tune)! Looking forward to hearing more of the travel tales!

        G-bloke - I have a gig myself on Friday Our community choir has two concerts this weekend and both are sold out!!

        Techie - even if I dont make California at the end of May with Sunny, I will probably be passing through Arizona at some stage. My brother in Atlanta has a friend in Arizona who has two cars (why would one person need two cars?????) and he has offered to lend us one while we are there.

        Feeling the love too Bridge. And I say a big YYEEESSSSS for the Spring Clean!!! I have completely turned Mr B around when it comes to clutter ....... it is really interesting how little stuff we really need. Although a few things have crept back in over the last two days ........ the yak bell that I got from Nepal that makes such a beautiful and evocative sound, my duplicate Tigger and Piglets, the cane chair that Mr B wanted to throw out five years ago but is Wookie's favourite scratching post.

        The cats have been funny with the new carpet. Wookie has taken it in his stride, although a bit suspicious. But Betty is quite discombobulated. She has adopted a pose of facing the walls - as if turning her back on it :H But she is still quite happy on the bed though

        Better stop rabbiting on and go and do some work!!

          Good morning to all you lovely people
          Raining here this am but hopefully it should brighten up
          I have been hunting high & low for my work contract but its gone walk about so i will have to ask for a copy as they are trying to pass thier crap onto me and i am damm sure its not my job to do thier work so i am going to check what my job role should be but the funny thing is that the two witches are getting noticed by other people and are now making a rod for thier own back.:H:H

                Good evening friends.

                I have been busy securing the boy's academic future (which is in real jeopardy) with a tutor. He is thrilled. He seems to think I am doing it to be an arsehole. Maybe I am....but I don't want to have to 'send him back to the breeder'

                So we may have Missy working on our shores Do you mean long term Missy? Or contractually short term?

                I remember having freshly caught fish on Ecmec??/bread on the bosphorus whilst in Istambul. No doubt it was another Techie/Froglette collaboration.

                Sounds like eventually your diabolical collegues will sh*t in their own nest Ronnie??? Usually the way.

                Went to a friend's property today. Marvellous place with a permacultural bent to it. Very gracious way to live as well. Something to aim for.

                I have managed to bring a woman flu home from Melbourne as well. Not as bad as NSW flu or man flu, but bad enough.

                As I am very competitive I have ordered more chickens, sexed to compete with Happs' brood. Hopefully they have been correctly assessed as the fairer sex. Can't have any of them being 'sent back to the breeder'                 now can we?

                Going to go and sleep off my bitch-flu now.

                    hey I think I've found a home for my roosters...how cool is that? and this chicken sexing caper is NOT easy let me tell you...I've taken to jumping out and scaring them to see who stands up straight and tall and who cowers down...at this rate they could die of heart attacks before I've worked out who is what...

                              It's really funny watching teenage roosters having their first tentative crow. They do all that head-held-high, chest-puffed-out stuff but only manage to produce a most pathetic, thin-voiced little call. But they get good at it in no time at all ... and that's when the neighbours come in to the picture ...
