Just looks fantastic. Woolies has the breadmixes on special so might just throw a Crusty White in the shop this arvo.

Called to get the chicks some feed and asked the guy about the sexing part and bugger, they cant sex the pure breeds...so I could have a Reggie or two and wont know it until they are older....I mustnt have been listening at that part....its funny how that happens...

Argh! no way...the chicken farmer takes them back and uses them for breeding. Only the pure breeds though. I did ask that question and retained that answer...

Now Happs ......... I have a few questions re your chooks. Did you get all your pure breeds from the one place? Because (in my limited experience) chances are that you'll end up with 50% roosters if unsexed as day-olds. I've just had a chat with old Mrs. Google and she insists that you can sex pure breeds. As for the farmer 'taking them back for breeding purposes' - that made me LOL. Have you ever seen how many hens a rooster can bowl over in a day? Don't think there's a high demand for studs in chook world. :upset:
