Morning all,

having a lazy morning today after a trip to Auckland yesterday which started with the 6:30am flight and ended with the 9:30pm one back. I was pretty peeved at dinner time - we went to a place that advertised halfprice on main courses. Only the small print was that to get the half-price deal, you had to order one of their boutiquey-type beers. So we ended up paying full-price!! Talk about misleading advertising

Hope al aprents got through the first day of the holidays okay. I have what sounds like the war in the Middle East going on at the opposite side of the table to me.

Oh Missy misleading ads are the thing today.

The Frog met me (albiet not friendly) in Newport. She took down more lobster than a gray reef shark. Frog eating lobster $220, Removing blood stains (she smacked me in the nose) from suit $70, Room for two at a tawny inn $350, Frog in that pink dress....PRICELESS!!!

Just had lunch on my new "how to lower your blood pressure" food regime. Boring and bland. I saved the toasted sesames and sunflowers in a corner of my lunch box so that I had some taste in my mouth to be going on with :H:H

Another glorious day here in Central Vic.

Look - you've all gotta understand I'm not a violent person but sometimes a smack in the nose does the job. And it did. The lobster was fanbloodytastic and the offensive garment has gone to the Op Shop.

Now Missy - this article had me a little worried. Just what sort of aquaculture do you guys practise over there?

Hello from Hoi An!

Ancient city just south of Da Nang.
Have discovered the most wonderful lemon juice slurpy in a downtown cafe/bar. Will show you a piccy when I come home. Essentialy shaved ice with lemon and lime juice sweetened a fraction, with tiny shavings of peel floating in it. So refreshing..
Humidity here is about 93%. Temp about 37.
This is a tourist town where tailor shops abound and you can get bespoke shoes, specs, shorts.... anything.
Nothing all that exciting happening. Have just come back from lunch and getting fitted for some slacks, and about to flake out by the pool.
Will read back a page or two to try to catch up.
