          Oh Frog my mom made me a Mediterranean Black Olive Bread. I had the last piece with hummus, olive oil, and some apple slices and cheese for lunch.

          Heading into Manhattan to see Wicked with my mom. She is very excited. Taking her to Smith and Wollensky first as she loves pork chops. They make the best. I am going to have a steak older than me :H

              Good morning all.

              Missy I am very excited about your new opportunities. Change is always a bit scary as well esp at this stage when there is so much to organise to get going. Not just a matter of shoving your undies into a backpack, slinging it on your back, passport...ticket...and off.....Ahhh those were the days....

              Morning to Techie Happs and Wally.

              Very sad indeed to hear about the discovery of poor Jillian Meagher's body overnight outside Melbourne. I was having dinner right around the corner exactly a week before. I can't help but wonder how different things might have been if she hadn't been drinking. Maybe she'd have made the decision to get a taxi? Been more aware of what was going on around her? Just a very, very sad story.
              If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                I've been a little absentish all week, consumed and preoccupied with thoughts of Jill only to find out the worst this morning. I feel sick and sad and disgusted and angry.

                  Morning Happs, Wally, Techie, Jones, Frog and major and minor Doodyheads to come,

                  I've just got up and read about Jill. This location is very near me, and a busy area with lots of bars, cafes and young people, particularly students. A lot of dark, poorly lit old laneways and back streets. I'm glad i insisted on walking a female friend home in this area a couple of months ago through the dark backstreets, even though it's often safe enough. I read that a colleague of Jill's offered to escort her home from that bar but she declined. That bloke must be shattered along with everyone else.

                    What an awful awful thing to have happen. Guitarista kudos to you for walking your friend home. We all tend to think that if we are on home turf we are safe. She was so very close to home. How sad and tragic.

                            It has been raining non stopfor 5 days now.

                            Went to vietnam war museum yesty. Very sad. Very biased display....but very politically correct for the country. I dared to ask where were photos of allied POW's. Apparantly those pics are kept somewhere in Hanoi and not for general display.


                            Saw the perfect pink polka dot rain cover for Lilys pink bike took a pic.

                            They are just calling our flight.

                              Thanks Roo's for sending your positive thoughts, prayers and energy to my workmates son on the other thread. There is a power in that i reckon, kind of like the law of attraction. Focus positive vibes somewhere and there is often a positive reaction. Anyway, worth a shot.

                              Hope all are safe and sound, comfy and happy.

                                I have NO idea hpw it got to be this time

                                What a strange day. Can't stop thinking about that poor Irish girl and her fate. Couple that with some very muggy, heavy weather today and it's been a bit of a weird one.

                                I think it's a light supper, a bit of TV and off for a soothing sleep.
