Do you KNOW how much I can get at the Thrift Store for $147!!!" LOL It was funny because that was something I would totally do. Except I'd never be in an expensive store in the first place! HA
    You making me LOL !!
Very true , I never used my money to buy good books, furnitures, clothes and shoes and other useful stuffs ...If possible tried to find a second-hand shop but for AL, I have been to 5 star hotel, casino , night bars and if possible in a so called great place whenever I was with my friends ....

Whew, what a busy day: swimming at 6:00, stopped back home for a bowl of cereal, in to work for an hour, home to put some plants in the ground. I had a handful of nuts and a cucumber for lunch. Attended a garden club meeting and presentation, 3:30 bank meeting that lasted over 2 hours, choir practice at 7:00. No time to think about drinking, that's for sure.

K9, my dreams usually make no sense at all. They are usually just fragments of events, from various times in my life. I agree with you, that "I'm great" thread was weird. I assumed the person was trying to feel better about himself to keep from drinking, but it is an unusual approach, offensive to some. Made me uncomfortable.

Nora, that dance class sounds like fun!
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

        Hi everybody,

Nora, I don't think it's possible not to have a fantastic time at the dance class. That really does sound like fun.

Wow Sun this was a busy day. I agree with the consensus, that "I'm great" thing was a little nutty. I guess we all do what we need to do in our own way.

Going to spend the rest of my week finishing corporate tax returns on extension. If anyone would like to trade places please let me know!

Allswell - sorry....but I do NOT want to trade places. Just the thought of it makes me dizzy.

Sun - you are so busy. Makes me tired just hearing about it. :H

I missed the thread that you are talking about. Will have a look.

I tried to sign us up for the dance class but they have to sign up themselves because they have to sign a waiver. I forgot to bring one of my business cards to prove that I work in the city. There's a discount if you're a resident or a business resident so I'm going to sign up tomorrow. I made sure that there are plenty of available spaces. I'm really looking forward to getting out & doing something.

Off to bed right now. Had a very restless night last night so I've been exhausted all day.

          Take care everyone.......

Has anyone heard from Mama? I was hoping to get a text but I guess she's busy.

Hello I'm still here. Sober. Was weird going out for dinner & not drinking. My hubby is saving me. If he was drinking I would be too. Have a great night everyone. One more sober day. That's a good thing.

                Hi Bouchard,

It might feel strange now to go out and not drink but soon it will be the new normal and not a big deal. It makes it so much better to have a partner on the same page. Keep up the great work!

                  Hi everyone!

Alls - Thanks but no thanks on trading places! LOL

No weird dreams last night, I am trying to cut back on the Melatonin because lately I'm having SUCH a hard time waking up. I am down to 9mgs...I know that seems like a lot but I was at 12! You can really get used to that stuff, when I first started, 1 mg would knock me out.

I'm reading a really good book right now called "Some Kind of Fairy Tale" by Graham Joyce. I was at the library yesterday and picked up 2 others that sound really good too: The Invisible Ones by Stef Penney and A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash. One review said it would knock my socks off, and the other book said the ending would blow me away. I better buckle my seatbelt for those two huh? LOL

The mayor was just peeping over my cube, he is 6'6" and our cubicle walls are 6'...so if he stand on his tippy toes he can peep over. LOL

I was typing away (here), boy did I look BUSY! HA

Be back later peeps, hope you're all well!!!

Wish I had a cubicle. :H Everybody just walks on by my desk. I'm in the same office as my boss.
I'll have to write down those books. I'm reading a Stephanie Bond book now. Light mystery - fun books.

Hello everyone. Missing Paula & Mama.

Well - speaking of boss.....guess who just walked in.......

How's work today Nora? Did the boss leave yet? Mine sits in an office behind my cubicle, but I can always hear her coming from a mile away, or I should say FEEL her coming, the ground shakes!!!

I miss Paula and Mama too!

                      Okie dokie...back to shuffling papers.

Your day is dragging too??? My friend and I keep looking at the clock wondering why it's broken. :H I have so much work to do but the clock is stuck.
Actually, my boss did leave but I've been so busy that I haven't been able to get on here. What's up with that?

                              Hi all..just in and POOPED.
Nothing major to report. I had three beers one night and two the next. I stopped and will not drink again now that I am home. Long, boring meetings but I am home and tucked in...YAY!
I love you all and will read back later.
