Work is a four letter word ! Ha! I've tried......but I've applied for disability with the VA. I have 70% disability now......with all my aliments, can't do what I use to do when I was working. It's hell when you get old and sick. Ha!

Hi friends, another delightful day. This afternoon I attended a fiber arts festival. The most common product was beautiful hand-died wool, being sold to people who spin their own yarn. Some vendors also brought their animals to exhibit: sheep of several varieties, rabbits, goats, alpacas. I was ingtrieged by the machine that knit socks by turning a hand crank. A demonstration showed how to make silk thread from cocoons. Beautiful and fascinating.

It's 104? today. Been over 100 in the house. I'm GRUMPY!!!

Doing ok though. Mama - was going to call you but I'm so irritable that I decided another time would be better. :l

Sun - that sounds like a fun day. I went to Michael's and got some more yarn. Trying to work with it but too hot.

Dix - how are you doing today? Are things looking better? I've been thinking about you a lot. I am sorry that you are going thru such a hard time right now.:l

Hello everybody,

Wow Nora, 100 in the house sounds dreadful. Hopefully things will cool down a little before you start the latin dance class.

Sun, that festival sounds interesting. It's fascinating to me to see how things were done before all the machines.

Having lunch today with friends of friends. The husband quit a professional life to become a farmer! I have lots of questions, my goal is to turn a little bit of land I have out in the middle of nowhere into a bit of an orchard.
