      Hello Army!!

Mrs. A - hope you're feeling better soon. Sending you healing :huggy's...

Tabbers - fingers and toes crossed that you get that job. What the others said about you being an asset to any company. I'd hire you myself if it wasn't such a long commute for you.

Tipster - that looks very yummy indeed. We had boring fried eggs for lunch. Mr. Stirly's favourite meal. I had some little chicken leg thingeys at IKEA a couple of weeks ago - similar to what I remember KFC being since I haven't had theirs in many years. While they were very tasty, I found the skin too fat for my taste. We don't usually eat things like that and it was a bit much. They were tasty little feckers tho'.

Molly, hope your first day back at work went well. Good that you were going to a branch that you enjoy working in.

Mama, best of luck on that trip. Stick by the boards whenever you need the support. You know we've got your back.

:wavin: to all the rest of the Troopers - hope you've all had a fine day. inkele:

Evening Mama stirly and Jc. Mama i'm reading a book i got from the library called Annie's girl. Its about a woman who was taken in to care with the news back in the 50's 60's and she doesn't know why her mum took here there. She finds out later but i'm just at the start of the book. Bit sad as the nuns didn't always treat them well. Still raining heavy here. I hope your ankle is ok. How awful that mean git didn't offer to help as you stumbled bloody ignorant if you ask me.

                Hiya JC!!

Just out of curiosity ladies, how much does lamb cost where you live? It costs about 8 euro a kilo here, sometimes less if it's on sale, sometimes more around holiday times - Christmas and Easter. I usually buy goat as it much leaner and it costs 1 or 2 euro more a kilo. And how do you usually cook it?

:hallo: Foxy and Pinky. You twoz snuck in when I wasn't looking.

Diced lamb is 21 euros a kilo here, boneless shoulder is 12.5 euros a kilo, stirly.

Edit - there seems to be quite a lot of variation depending on the cut. The latter figure is probably more representative.

130.66 ZAROkay, it is defo more expensive than here but still doable. I pay 10 euro for the fecking beef that I get them to ground up for me and 10 to 14 euro a kilo for the fresh fish I get. Expensive but worth it. I go to the open farmers' market for fruits and veggies and they have great prices.

Pinky, Aldi pulled out of Greece. And I so wanted to try their face creams since they're supposed to be really, really good and at really cheap prices.:upset:
