Letter from his kids today...

It just doesn't end. Got an email from is kids today, titled "getting under the house" -

"Dad had told us several weeks ago that we could come over and get under the house to get out our stuff out of there. We would like to come over as soon as possible to get the stuff and some of our mom?s stuff that dad told us we could get. We talked to him about it today, and he said we could still go over. We need to coordinate a time with you to do this, or you can just leave the door unlocked and let us know when we can swing by. Thanks."

I am so very tired of this entire thing right now. He has a will, but I won't share the will until after he's laid to rest. It sucks that his kids are more concerned with all the "crap, material things" yet never had time to spend with their dad....

Sent a contact email to a local attorney; hope they havent' caught the firm yet.

Really don't wanna be doing this right now; just wanna help him finish his life journey... :helpme: :upset:

Sorry you have to go through all of this especially now with his kids. I wish they would have waited until he was put to rest, I just don't understand why people do that. Why they get so concerned with material items when they need to be spending their efforts on being with their father.
I wish you the best you have been on my mind a lot lately.

Gypsi - I wish you did not have to deal with this kind of behavior now (or ever). I don't get it but I certainly have seen it before. I hope that they come around and spend the time with their father rather than worrying about stuff. You are elegant and graceful and have dealt with everything in such a dignified manner. I am certain your husband knows and appreciates this. Continuing to keep you in my thoughts during this difficult journey. May you and Jim both have peace soon.
