I'm stuffed. Totally stuffed. It was lovely, though. The roast potatoes were crispy and golden on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside.

Drat. I have to set my alarm so that I can put the wheelie bin out tomorrow morning. It's Heritage Day in Saffaland - to celebrate our diversity. It is unofficially called Braai Day. We'll see if the weather permits.

And we live in a really safe area (comparatively speaking). It's just that almost everything is re-used and recycled. Some folks are looking for food, others collect plastic, paper & glass. We leave the food on top of or next to the bin, so that the garbage is hopefully not scattered about.

I'm reading a very funny book, by the way. Picked it up at the friend who had us for lunch yesterday. The Psycopath Test by Jon Ronson. Subtitled "A journey through the madness industry." Defo recommend it if you're looking gor a good laugh.
