Hello my beautiful Undies.

I’m back!!
Arrived back 2 days ago, but have caught the lurgy from Mr Rags, who caught it from someone who coughed in his face (accidentally).


Arrived home to rat shit all over the kitchen… So here we are, dog tired from an overnight flight and about 26 hours with no sleep and unable to make a cup of tea till we cleaned and disinfected the place. Bastards managed to get up to a shelf where there was some peanut butter… from the scratch marks on the shelf, (and the broken tumbler) I figure one climbed up the water cooler the grasped the shelf with its teeth while the other climbed up its back to knock the jar to the floor. The teeth marks have gone through the laminex. Bastard vermin. We caught three in traps. Found yet another two holes in the kitchen wall behind drawers. I thought they’d all been blocked up when we did the kitchen reno.
There will be too much for me to catch up with all your goings on, but I heard about the eel, Alan Jones (prick) Techies heart problem, Tawns breadmaking skills getting betterer and betterer, Bridge getting a load of soil and an assignation with Mr G., and Missy is having an interview for a position in Sydney.
Is there anything more I need to know?

Now, very important question for you. Had a wonderful trip and I’d love to share it with you. I have a fair number of pics of my RAT (Rags’ African trip) and VAC (Vietnam and Cambodia) adventures. Want me to put them up here, or start a Raggsy trip thread? . As long as you promise to look and comment. And some of the things from my sms es will be explained. I am starting to get a bit cheesed off with TELSTRA… arranged for international roam … they did it for Mr Rags but not me.
I had typed a post while waiting to get on the Sydney flight home from Bangkok airport, but the MWO site was frozen for some reason, so Lil will have missed me telling her I’ve seen the perfect raincoat for her pink bicycle. There’s a picky of it (albeit not a good one). And a picky of NZ ice cream in a most unusual location.

Techie, look after yourself. Can nurse Jones wipe your fevered brow or otherwise nurture you back to health?

And look at young Leon…. Isn’t he a sweetie.


And it is raining here... wonderful. My garden has suffered a bit while I've been away.

AND i have put on 6 kilograms with all the rice, fried food and bread products I ate while on hols. Lots of food pics for you.

BTW I have toenail fungus but you can't see it at the moment as it is covered in nail polish applied on the truck whilst travelling through the Serengetti... gee a lot of exciting stuff happened there...

No, you're correct Bridge. 'We live on Vegemite motherfuckers' is the lyric according to the lyric sheets on their website.

The lyric talks of 'hatred in our eyes', and then to the chorus lyric, 'we live on vegemite' etc.....The band know only too well that the vitamin B, thiamin and riboflavin in vegemite puts a loving sparkle in yer eye.

Good to see some muso's picking up on the benefits of the black stuff. Crikey, it's kept my bands going on the road over the years to be sure.
